Winos mtg last evening went well. We enjoyed mead & wine from Jim & Nanci, Trish, Bernie, & Karen. Thanks to Grant for keeping the fire stoked. Feb mtg will be at the home of Steve & Karen Young, probably on the 5th.
Brewers Guild mtg will be this Sat the 15th at Garys. We will serve the Saison made on Teach a Friend to Brew Day in Nov. The gist of this mtg will be to promote the club and share what we have made with each other & other folks who are interested in home brewing. Please let me know what you will bring to share when you RSVP.
Gen mtg will be on the 23rd. We will do the Amer Brown Ale at this mtg.

Winos meeting is this Saturday, Jan 8th, at my house. Time is 4-7. We will spread out on the back porch, DR, LR, kitchen and garage. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. Include what Bev you will bring to share.
BG mtg will be the 16th at Gary's.
GM will be at Tera & Tim's house. We will do the SOM here Style is American Brown Ale. Any entries at this time??
We will make several changes to SOM Comp in the hope that it will create more interest & participation. Instead of 1 gift certificate, the winner each month will get a $25 for each month he or she wins. They will be given out at the 2022 Christmas party. I will pass on the certificate this year. The winner each month will pick the style for that month for the next year. Oct & Dec are locked in. March has a choice of Irish Red or Stout. We will start this in 2022. The winners are listed below. I have filled in my months. Those who are named will select for that month in 2022. Please let me know what your choice is ASAP. Do it before Christmas. This week is better. Scott gets one of my months since he got Oct & Dec.

Club has enough hone to make 2 twenty gal batches of mead. Let me know if you are interested in taking 5 gals home. You would be expected to bring samples to future meetings. New folks and those who did not get honey from Neal will get priority. Cost TBD.

Congrats to Scott for the SOM win. His Christmas Ale was to guidelines, my Egg Nog Porter was not. Jan Som will be American Brown Ale.
Our Jan mtgs will be the 8th, 16th & 23rd. Winos on the 8th will be at my house. The other 2 TBD.
we did not give out awards this year due to low attendance at mtgs and limited number of events. Hopefully things will get back to normal
in 2022.

Thanks to Mike & staff at St. Michael's Brewing Company for hosting the club meeting Sunday. The beer was great and the facility is a nice place for a brew. It's worth the drive. Congrats to Bernie for SOM 1st place.
Our last get together will be the annual Christmas party at the church on the beach. At this time we have 23 RSVPs. If you want to sign on to cook a turkey or ham please do so NOW. The club will reimburse you for the cost. I'll have left over tenderloins. Those who have already RSVPed need to add what side item you plan to bring. All others
please include what you will provide. Date is Dec 11th. Time will be announced ASAP.

1-Teach somebody to homebrew day went well yesterday. Nanci, Grant & I brewed 10 gallons of Saison. Ryan took a lot of pictures & helped out. Thanks to Trish for the pot of chili. A great choice for a cool windy day. Thanks also to Gary & family for the use of facilities & equipment. We talked with several potential new members.
2-Our next meeting will be at Saint Michael's Brewery this Sunday 4-7 pm. address there is 2199 Hwy8 7, Navarre. This will be our only meeting in Nov. Style of the month is English Porter 13C. we have2 entries at this time. Any more?? Please RSVP ASAP. I need a head count for Pizza order by 2pm Saturday.
3-Our only meeting in Dec will be the Christmas party on the 11th at the Church on the Beach. I'll get correct name & Address ASAP. Any body got a winter Seasonal for SOM?
